I am a professional artist, born and raised in Philadelphia. I paint, exhibit and teach primarily in
the Eastern Pennsylvania region and in Bucks County and Florida. I live in the
Abington Township area of Montgomery County.

My principal focus is landscape though lately I have been teaching still life
in watercolor to advanced students at Abington Art Center.
I am a published author illustrator of a children's book about Dolphins
which was approved and edited as scientifically accurate by Woodshole Oceanographic Institution. "Little Blue Jack" can be found on Amazon. It was published in 1967.
I have been working in fine art since 2000 after ending my ownership
in a graphic design, advertising firm that I founded in 1968,
During those years as CEO/Creative officer I found time to stay connected in the arts with ceramics, steel sculpture and watercolors.
Though known as a watercolorist, I began to paint again in oil and have been showing work in that medium since 2005.
My exhibition work almost always includes both watercolor and oil now and
I am principally a " plein air painter". My best work is always begun outside on the site and in most cases brought close to finish in a single sitting. I finesse details only in studio.
